Sylvia Greer

We are pleased to announce that Sylvia Greer will join ITRE this summer as a Research Assistant. Sylvia is a graduate student at UNC-Chapel Hill’s Department of City and Regional Planning, concentrating in Transportation Planning. They are interested in disability accessibility and universal design in transportation. Sylvia is originally from Northern Virginia and double majored in Economics and Asian and Pacific Islander American Studies at the College of William & Mary. Sylvia will be supporting our Transportation Systems Planning and Analysis Group with research related to equity and equitable performance measures.

Cesar Reyes

We are pleased to announce that Cesar Reyes will join ITRE this summer as a Research Assistant. Cesar is a graduate student within UNC-Chapel Hill’s Department of City and Regional Planning, concentrating on Transportation Planning. His interest in the field is improving safety and equity for all road users, regardless of mode. He is originally from Los Angeles, California but has lived in and around the Raleigh and Durham region for the past 8 years. He received his undergraduate degree at UNC-Chapel Hill, majoring in Geography and minoring in GIS and Urban Planning. Prior to college, he served in the United States Army where his job, Civil Affairs, was to support local governance overseas, through infrastructure and aid projects. Cesar will be supporting our Transportation Systems Planning and Analysis Group with research related to VMT, accessibility and equity.
