Need assistance attending class? Eligible public works professionals can apply for a waived class fee for
any NCLTAP class (excluding Work Zone Supervisor) once a year.
Eligibility requirements:
Student is employed at a public agency (can be town, city, county, etc) with fewer than 50,000 residents
Supervisor has approved student attendance (please submit a brief letter of support)
Students will be allowed 1 waived class per calendar year and each NC public agency can receive up to 5
waived classes per calendar year.
Assistance is limited to 15 students in 2024 and is provided on a first come, first serve basis.

information in your request:
- name of student
- email of student
- name of supervisor
- email of supervisor
- class requested
- class date request
- supervisor approval
