CTE Co-Sponsors the Context Sensitive Solutions National Dialog!
FHWA and CTE are partnering in a project to initiate a national dialog about Context Sensitive Solutions (CSS). The Dialog has accepted submissions of CSS best practices to feature at a series of one-day workshops to be held in various locations across the US.
The next workshop will be held in Portland, Oregon on December 7, 2009.

National Broadcast Series/CTE Webcasts
CTE presented DOT-HUD-EPA Interagency Partnership for Sustainable Communities, a National Broadcast Series live teleconference, on November 9, 2009. CTE produces an annual series of nationally televised satellite/Web broadcasts featuring expert panel discussions on emerging research and policy issues in the transportation/environmental field.

2009 International Conference on Ecology and Transportation (ICOET)
ICOE 2009 was held September 13-17 at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center in Duluth, Minnesota. Both successful and well-attended, the conference welcomed an estimated 400 participants representing more than 16 countries and tribal nations. Read more...

Washington Wildlife Crossings Field Course
CTE recently co-hosted the Washington Wildlife Crossings Field Course, conducted in Roslyn, Washington in June 2008 . The field course is designed to be complementary to ICOET and provide an additional education forum for attendees of both conferences and new attendees alike. CTE provided video documentation, online registration, and Web site support. A summary of the course proceedings is available.
