This broadcast was part of the Federal Transit Administration's public outreach efforts designed to discuss the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) on the metropolitan and statewide planning requirements outlined in the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, and Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU). The broadcast provided valuable information for FTA and FHWA division and regional staff, MPO staff, local planners, and other stakeholders and transportation decision-makers.
