Participating Downlinks
CTE satellite broadcasts are transmitted via C-Band to more than
180 downlink sites throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and
Canada. These sites voluntarily open their facilities for local audiences
to view the broadcasts as long as they do not conflict with existing
programming. If you would like to watch a CTE broadcast at
one of these facilities, simply review the links below to
find a downlink facility located near you. Please remember to contact
the site coordinator in advance of the broadcast to ensure that the
facility is able to receive the program and that space is still available.
For more information about CTE downlink sites, please contact Walter Thomas.
Register Your Site for an Upcoming Broadcast
If you would like your satellite downlink facility to receive an
upcoming CTE broadcast, please register
online or contact Walter Thomas.
Upon receipt of your registration request, CTE will send you the satellite
coordinates, along with other information related to the broadcast.
Site Coordinator Instructions
CTE requests each pre-registered downlink facility (or sponsoring organization) to designate an individual to serve as the on-site coordinator for
the live broadcast. Site coordinator responsibilities are minimal and typically include:
- Promoting the broadcast locally.
- Pre-registering individuals who wish to participate at that site.
- Downloading the sign-in sheet, program handout, and supplemental PowerPoint handout from CTE's Web site.
- Signing in people the day of the broadcast.
- Distributing copies of the handouts to participants the day of the broadcast.
- Assisting participants with sending their questions/comments to the panel by phone, fax, or email during the broadcast.
- Encouraging participants to complete the evaluation form (included in the handout) at the end of the broadcast.
- Mailing or faxing the sign-in sheet and completed evaluation forms to CTE following the broadcast.
CTE appreciates the time and effort that individual downlink staff and site coordinators
dedicate toward these broadcasts. We thank you for your support! Please
let us know if there's anything
we can do to improve the way in which we present CTE broadcasts to
you.
