ITRE Test Drives the eGo
The Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE) has been given the opportunity to use an electric scooter called the eGO. This running-emission free and nearly silent vehicle can travel more than 20 miles on a single charge, or the equivalent of 800 miles a gallon.

ITRE Organizes and Participates in U.S.-Portuguese Transportation Symposium
Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE) Director Nagui Rouphail traveled to Portugal to participate in the formation of the Luso-American Transportation Impacts Study Group (LATIS-G). The purpose of this group is to identify and discuss priority topics related to transportation systems impacts in the United States and Portugal. Dr. H. ITRE Director Visits South Korea for Research, Reunion and Recruitment
Nagui Rouphail, director of the Institute for Transportation Research and Education, traveled to South Korea recently to make a number of presentations as well as reunite with two ITRE-supported Ph.D. graduates from NC State.
